Stephanie Lind (alto) is in her second year singing with the Kingston Chamber Choir. Originally a woodwind player, she has experience in choral singing, Early Music performance, and in contemporary music; she also performs with the Martello Alley Cats jazz ensemble.
Professionally, Stephanie spends her days as an Associate Professor of Music Theory in the Dan School of Drama, Queen’s University, teaching music analysis, harmony, counterpoint, and musicology. Her major research areas focus on contemporary Canadian music and on the music of video games. She has particularly enjoyed the opportunity to sing new, Canadian repertoire for choirs in the Kingston Chamber Choir and looks forward to their upcoming season.
