Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped make our Here & Now concert such a smashing success.!
We were delighted that so many were able to arrive early, on what turned out to be a very snowy evening, to jump into the bidding at our silent auction. (Our congratulations to the many winners!) We hope you all enjoyed a sweet treat with your glass of champagne before relaxing into an evening of beautiful music. It was truly our pleasure to present this concert to you and we hope you enjoyed it!
As Darrell mentioned on Saturday evening, this concert of jazz and pop was an exciting departure for the KCC, and we were delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received. Thank you to all those who have reached out this past week to let us know how much you enjoyed the concert. It was a delight to have Michelle Kasaboski join us on stage, and the choir enjoyed their many solos throughout the evening.
And now, we are excited to start work on our next concert, Music She Wrote! On International Women’s Day, the KCC will celebrate female composers and performers with special guests, She Sings! and the Caledonias. Come and hear us perform beautiful selections from Eleanor Daley, Martha Hill Duncan, Jocelyn Morlock, and many, many others. This promises to be a wonderful afternoon, so please join us at 2:30 pm on Sunday, March 8th at Cooke’s-Portsmouth United Church.
Tickets are available online for those who don’t like lineups, as well as at Novel Idea, and at the door.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
With warm regards,
Your Kingston Chamber Choir
