...reimagining the choral experience...

YOUR KINGSTON CHAMBER CHOIR

The Kingston Chamber Choir is a 28 member mixed voice ensemble based in Kingston, ON. Founded by Gordon Sinclair in 2004, over the past 15 years, the KCC has become known for its professional approach to choral music, focusing on supporting emerging artists and composers.

The KCC strives to reimagine the choral experience through exciting collaborations and community partnerships that support live music in Kingston. Led by Artistic Director, Darrell Christie, the KCC have undertaken notable engagements including performances with The Kingston Symphony Orchestra, a collaborative concert with The Canadian Chamber Choir, and look forward to performing with Albany Pro Musica and the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra in August 2020.

INTRODUCING OUR 2022-23 SEASON

The Kingston Chamber Choir enters our upcoming season as a revitalized organization, and we are thrilled to present our reimagined look. Building on 15 successful seasons, KCC is renowned for bringing moving choral performances to Kingston audiences. This year, we embark on a new mission honouring tradition, while diversifying our approach to the choral experience in the 21st century.

Performances this season include Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, as well as an exciting concert in collaboration with Matthew Lyon Hazzard & the Queen's Coral Ensemble from the Dan School of Music.

We are also thrilled to be part of the Pro Musica International Choral Festival this summer, where choirs from across Canada including ourselves will perform in a week long celebration of choral music
