Alastair has been singing since he was 6 years old. Hailing from the sunny city of Victoria, British Columbia, Alastair sung in his school choir, completed RCM Piano up to Grade 8, was a member of the BC Music Educators Association Honour Choir, and was heavily involved in his high school’s band, jazz, and theatre programs. Moving to Kingston to start his undergraduate degree at Queen's, Alastair continued his involvement in music with the Queen’s Chorus, Queen’s University Choral Ensemble, Queen’s University Chamber Orchestra, Queen’s Musical Theatre, Queen’s Players, and other smaller groups and ensembles. After graduating three years ago with a BSc in chemistry (and a minor in music), Alastair made the very wise decision to join the Kingston Chamber Choir. Currently (in his free time) Alastair enjoys pursuing a PhD in analytical chemistry at Queen’s University.
