"Our Mission is to perform choral music at the highest standard, drawn from the classical tradition, to enrich and engage Kingston area audiences."
Who Are We?
As it begins its eighth season, this 21-voice chamber choir presents more "music to move you".
The ensemble occupies a special niche in Kingston’s pantheon of choral music and offers challenging and familiar works in the glorious setting of St. George’s Cathedral, with guest artists also contributing their unique talents to many events.
A growing loyal audience is visible testimony to the high standard of the ensemble’s professionalism.

Welcome to this, our eighth season. I think you will really enjoy the wonderful music that is intended to delight and illuminate.
When programming a season, one of my priorities as artistic director is to explore Kingston connections, and this season is no exception. Pianist Valery Lloyd Watts, our guest artist at our November concert, is well known to Kingston audiences, though no less nationally and internationally. Valery still makes her home here in Kingston.
For our December Messiah concert, Bass David Pike, who now enjoys a very fine singing career in Europe, is a native Kingstonian, and his parents, Jack and Neita, still live here. Mezzo Jennifer Routhier is a third-year Engineering (!) student at Queen's. Tenor Robert Martin is a Belleville resident but is doing some voice teaching at the Queen's Conservatory.
February sees the return of Baritone Geoffrey Sirett to the KCC stage. Geoffrey grew up here in Kingston, and developed a love for singing in his father Mark's Cantabile Choirs organization. Mark will accompany Geoffrey at the piano in several selections from the vast French tradition.
Come join us. We have these and many other magnificent musical treats in store for you. Gordon Sinclair

Honorary Patron of the Kingston Chamber Choir
Dear Kingston Chamber Choir and Audience Members,
It is my pleasure to be the Honourary Patron of the Kingston Chamber Choir. As a child, I studied music for many years in Kingston and came to have a deep appreciation for choir music from my mother, who sang for years with the Kingston Choral Society. As an adult, I sang in both English and French community choirs in Grenoble, France; Deep River, Ontario; and Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.
I know how satisfying it is to work with fellow choristers, in a labour of love, to learn and share a beautiful piece of music. And I know, as an audience member, how wonderful it can be to take in the music of beautiful voices in harmony. I'm also glad to see that the Kingston Chamber Choir has worked to include so many guest artists with community connections.
Choristers, may you continue to enrich our community and always sing with joy! Audience members, may you delight in the talent before you!
